Kate Middleton self-isolating after coming in contact with someone COVID positive

The Duchess of Cambridge is self-isolating at home after coming into contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19.

The 39-year-old Duchess attended a number of events last week.

Her most prominent appearances were the Wimbledon tennis championships on Friday as well as England’s victorious Euro 2020 soccer match against Germany on Tuesday with William and their son Prince George.

The confirmation comes from Kensington Palace on Monday.

“Last week the Duchess of Cambridge came into contact with someone who has subsequently tested positive for COVID-19,” a spokesperson for the palace said.

“Her Royal Highness is not experiencing any symptoms, but is following all relevant government guidelines and is self-isolating at home.”

As being reported, last week she attended the Euros soccer tournament and Wimbledon tennis tournament and received a negative COVID-19 test before each.

According to BBC News, she sat with the Duke of Kent in the royal box on Centre Court.

She also sat with top British tennis player Tim Henman to watch another match.  While she also followed the rules about when to wear a mask while at Wimbledon.

According to the British media reports, Prince William. who last week reunited with estranged brother Prince Harry,  is not required to self-isolate and is still expected at the public events.

As being reported, the British royals receive COVID-19 tests twice a week as part of the Royal Household testing regime.
