Keith Flint, Prodigy vocalist dies aged 49

Keith Flint, vocalist and the frenetic frontman of the British group the Prodigy, has died the age of 49. He was declared dead after being found at his home in Essex on Monday.
The Prodigy has released an official statement confirming the news. The statement reads, “It is with deepest shock and sadness that we can confirm the death of our brother and best friend Keith Flint.
A true pioneer, innovator, and legend. He will be forever missed. We thank you for respecting the privacy of all concerned at this time.”
The news was shared on the band’s official Instagram account. Liam Howlett, the band’s main musician, who formed the band in 1990 said that Flint had killed himself.
He wrote, “The news is true, I can’t believe I’m saying this but our brother Keith took his own life over the weekend.”
Liam Howlett also wrote that said he was angry, confused and heartbroken by the news.

Flint became one of UK’s most iconic musical figures in the 1990s. With his punk aesthetic of piercings, spiked hair and intense stare, he was an instant hit among the music fans.

As being reported The Prodigy was scheduled to tour the United States in May, including a show at Terminal 5 in New York.
