Kit Harrington seeks rehab facility for stress and alcohol
Game of Thrones star Kit Harrington is over-stressed and has reportedly checked himself into a luxury health retreat seeking help with exhaustion and alcohol use, news magazine Page Six confirmed.
The 32-year-old, who played Jon Snow on the popular series, has spent the last month in a rehab facility ahead of the show’s ending on 19th May.
According to Page Six, the end of the show had a major effect on Harrington as a friend of the actor exclusively confirmed the source.
“The end of Game of Thrones really hit Kit hard, said Kit’s friend, he realised ‘this is it – this is the end’. It was something they had all worked so hard on for so many years. He had a moment of, what next?”
“He’s in the clinic predominantly for stress and exhaustion and also alcohol. His wife Rose [Leslie] is being extremely supportive. Everyone close to him really wanted him to get some rest. Right now, he just needs peace and quiet.” he added.
Reports suggests that the actor has decided to “utilize the break in his schedule” as an opportunity to spend some time at the rehab facility to fix his personal issues.
The final season of the fantasy series has divided fans, with many expressing their disgust over how things ended up in the show. Fans even started petition for remake of the final season.
