Lady Gaga confirms she is engaged!
It’s been a while since ‘A Star Is Born’ actress Lady Gaga has been flashing her pink diamond ring in public. But there was no official confirmation till yet about her engagement with talent manager Christian Carino. But there were rumours of their secret engagement from 2017.
But while speaking at the Elle Women in Hollywood event in Beverly Hills on Monday 15th of October, Lady Gaga casually made the announcement of her relationship status.
Lady Gaga said, “Thank you to all the loved ones in my life. (Manager)Bobby (Campbell), I love you. Everyone at table five. My fiancé, Christian. All the loved ones in my life who take care of me every day. And Ryan Murphy, thanks for giving me my first leading role (in American Horror Story: Hotel). You know that Golden Globe belongs to you.”
It was a power pack acceptance speech by the singer in which she also opened about sexual assault and mental health. She also made a plea for women to lift up each other’s voices.
“As a sexual assault survivor by someone in the entertainment industry, as a woman who is still not brave enough to say his name, as a woman who lives with chronic pain, as a woman who was conditioned at a very young age to listen to what men told me to do, I decided today I wanted to take the power back. Today I wear the pants”, said Lady Gaga.
