Lahore Police Arrest TikToker Kashif Zameer, His 13 Security Guards for Public Display of Weapons

TikToker issued a public apology after his dramatic arrest for displaying firearms in public.

Lahore Police’s Crime Control Department (CCD) arrested well-known TikToker Kashif Zameer along with 13 of his security guards for openly displaying weapons in public.

The action was taken on Wednesday, July 2, for blatant violation of Section 144 imposed by the Punjab government to maintain law and order during Muharram.

CCD sources revealed that Kashif Zameer was travelling on a Lahore highway in a double-cabin vehicle accompanied by armed guards.

Police officials confirmed that a raid was carried out in Iqbal Town, during which firearms were seized from Kashif Zameer and his security guards. Multiple cases have been registered against him at the CCD police station.

Videos showing Zameer moving through the city with heavily armed guards went viral on social media. The footage captured him and his men openly displaying weapons, sparking public fear and widespread backlash.

TikTok influencer Kashif Zameer has publicly apologised following his dramatic arrest for displaying firearms in public. In a video statement, he expressed deep remorse over his actions, which recently drew widespread criticism.

“A few days ago, a video of mine went viral on social media, in which I foolishly showed off a ‘daala’ [pickup truck] and weapons. This caused disturbance on the roads and spread fear among people,” he admitted.

“I sincerely apologise for my behaviour. Going forward, I will never promote any daala or display weapons. I ask everyone to forgive me.”

This wasn’t Zameer’s first run-in with the law. In April 2025, he was arrested for allegedly showing disrespect towards the Punjab Police. A controversial TikTok video had surfaced, showing him handing over a tray of money to a man dressed in a police uniform at a wedding, later identified as driver constable Khurram Shahzad.
