Mahira Khan and Bilal Ashraf begin shooting for Superstar

After much wait, finally the Mahira Khan and Bilal Ashraf starrer Superstar has gone on the floors. Shooting has officially begin for the film directed by Mohammad Ehteshamuddin of Udaari and Aangan fame. Superstar, a Momina Duraid production has been scripted by Azaan Sami Khan. “Its a genre that hasn’t been made in Pakistan yet, very theatrical and something I had been wanting to do for a while,” shared producer Momina Duraid while talking to Express Tribune a little while ago.

According to the tweet Mahira Khan shared, Khan will be seen playing the character of Noori while Bilal Ashraf will be seen playing Sameer.

According to news, Azaan Sami Khan will be composing the music for the film and Atif Aslam has already record two songs.  Superstar is said to revolve around the glamorous world of superstars in Pakistan.
