Mahira Khan comes under fire for attributing a wrong couplet to Mirza Ghalib
Mahira Khan has become a laughing stock among fans after she mistakenly attributed a couplet to Ghalib in a social media post.
The Superstar actress has been very active on social media these days keeping her fans entertained via her throwback photos, poetry and much more during the times of coronavirus lockdown.
In one tweet, the actress had posted a couplet and attributed it to Mirza Ghalib wrongly.
Although the tweet has now been deleted, Twitteratis were quick to troll the actress over this mistake.
Here check out a few tweets where Mahira has been heavily trolled and asked to have mercy on Ghalib.

Apart from other social media users, women rights activist Marvi Sirmed also schooled the actress over attributing such a couplet to Ghalib.
It is not at all by Ghalib. Such lousy balance of verses, badly composed thought, it sounds like few words have been out together in a rattle and are made to produce meaningless sound. Certainly not Ghalib. But I can recall a remotely related couple from Faraz. Lemme recall.
