Mahira Khan is all praises for Meera Jee
It was last year that Saqib Malik announced his debut film as a director. The film, that would star Meera Jee in a pivotal role, would be high on the glamour and drama quotient. Shooting had already kickstarted for Baaji and now it seems, a few sequences are ready for preview as well.
In such an instance, Mahira Khan, the acclaimed filmstar of Pakistan, had the chance of previewing one of the songs of Baaji and the starlet now gushes about how amazing it was and how Meera Jee owned each frame. Mahira shared the message on her Twitter;

With the cast comprising of Meera, Osman Khalid Butt, Mohsin Abbas Haider, Ali Kazmi, Nayyar Ejaz and Amna Ilyas, Baaji is a Saqib Malik directorial and pays homage to the golden era of Pakistani cinema. Set against the backdrop of ‘fading Lollywood and the emerging new order of the Pakistani film industry’ Baaji has been co-written by Irfan Ahmed Urfi and Saqib Malik and is expected to release sometime later this year.
Earlier Meera Jee and Mahira Khan were in the news with Meera making snide comments about Mahira’s popularity being overrated. The Lollywood queen is now yet to acknowledge Mahira’s praise. Lets see how this one goes on.
