“Honestly, if there was a controversy, I would have loved to create it but Akshay and me are really good friends. We really get along. In fact, we just messaged each other two days ago. There is absolutely nothing. We are just releasing two films on one day, that’s it,” said John.

Adding further John said that there’s nothing to be worried or upset about. There’s enough room for two releases on a big day and if anything, he can say for sure that his is a good film.

“There is enough space. Audience gets to choose from two good films. For one I can say that my film is really nice, at least one choice that audience has is really good. I hope the other two films are also good. That’s all I can hope for. But August 15 is a great day,” added the Dhoom actor.

John rubbished claims of clash between Akshay and him, as he and his Desi Boyz co-star are only being professionals all the while maintaining their friendship.

“Make some noise for the Desi Boys!” he said with a laugh.
