Malala pokes fun at comedian Trevor Noah

World’s youngest Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai was invited as a guest at an episode of ‘The Daily Show’. The talk show is hosted by top comedian Trevor Noah.

The world’s youngest activist arrived on time for the program recording but the host of the show unexpectedly was late to arrive at the studio.

While waiting for Trevor Noah, Malala teased the host in a tweet. Her tweet was later trending on social media.

Malala posted a photo of her holding a book written by Trevor titled ‘Born a Crime’, she captioned her post: Why is this man Trevor late.

And later another tweet, posting a photo along Trevor and captioning it: Excuses, excuses…

And before the recording for the talk show could officially kick-off. The host himself engaged in the twitter conversation. Trevor replied to Malala’s tweet saying, “I was just nervous to come say hi”.

The official twitter handle of the program also replied to the ongoing online conversation.

However, the show was recorded. There was some fun talk about those previous tweets by Malala during the show and as well as the world’s youngest activist talked at great length about her upcoming book titled, ‘We are Displaced’.

It was also revealed that in her upcoming book Malala has recounted tales of young girls around the world who have been displaced from their homes.
