Malika Arora opens up about her age difference with beau Arjun Kapoor

Malika Arora, aged 43, has been making headlines ever since she publicized her relationship with Arjun Kapoo, aged 34, mainly due to the age gap between the two. The duo has been occasionally spotted out and about together lately and hinted at their relationship on the last season of Koffee with Karan, where Malika admitted to liking Arjun Kapoor.

Despite living in the modern century, the social media didn’t hold back to highlight and target the age gap between the two Bollywood actors. Malika Arora, therefore, decided to step forward in a recent interview to answer the much contemplated question about the couple’s view on having a considerable age difference.
“The age difference doesn’t really pop up when you are in a relationship. It is about two minds and hearts connecting. Unfortunately, we live in a society that refuses to progress with time. An older man romancing a younger girl is hailed everywhere, but when the woman is older, she’s called ‘desperate’ and a ‘buddhi’.”

Also talking about how she does she feel about finding love again after her a failed marriage, Malika said, “It feels amazing! When my marriage ended, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to be in another relationship and was scared of being heartbroken. But I also wanted to be in love, nurture a relationship, and this new me gave me the confidence to put myself out there and take a chance. I am so glad I did!”

As we speak the duo is currently vacationing in New York and having the time of their lives. Malika also took to Instagram recently on Arjun Kapoor’s Birthday to make their relationship publicly official by posting her first every picture with the ‘Panipat’ actor.
