Meesha Shafi had accused Ali Zafar of sexual harassment in April 2018.
It was a few days ago when a number of girls came forward with accounts of harassment and inappropriate behaviour by teachers at Lahore Grammar School (LGS) 1A1 Ghalib Market Branch.
Following the uproar on social media, the Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari responding to the incident said that she has taken serious notice of the allegations and has informed regional offices of the ministry.
Have taken note of serious harassment allegations of young girls and women at educational institutions – most recently at two premier private institutions in Lahore. MOHR helpline 1099 is available for complaints & for help. Our regional offices have been alerted on this issue.
