‘When We All Vote’ Meghan Markle Urges Women to Participate in 2020 Elections

Meghan Markle is back to her hometown and what better than to kickoff her public speaking career with partaking in promoting electoral responsibility for the upcoming presidential election in November. While attending When We All Vote event in LA, the former Hollywood star encouraged women to realize their voter responsibility and cast ballot.

“We all know what’s at stake this year. I know it. Today, we are watching so many women in different communities who are marginalized still struggling to see that right [to vote] come to fruition, and that is—it’s just simply not okay,” said the Duchess of Sussex.

“We [America] are obviously faced with a lot of problems in our world right now, both in the physical world and in the digital world. But we can and must do everything we can to ensure all women have their voices heard.”

“If you aren’t going out there and voting, then you’re complicit. If you’re complacent, you’re complicit,” she rightly pointed.

Further bringing it closer to home, she urged the audiences to vote for any cause they support and not necessarily agree to herself. “Maybe it’s the environment. Maybe it’s the rights of women. Maybe it’s the rights of children or maybe it’s healthcare,

Whatever it is, we can make the difference in this election and we will make the difference in this election,” said Meghan.
