Mehwish Hayat Praises Kashmiris for Resilience Against Oppression
Pakistani superstar Mehwish Hayat who is often seen taking the social media podium to bring attention to the plight of Kashmiris has once again raised voice against the atrocities carried out by Indian forces. This time the Dil Lagi star not only raised voice for the Kashmiris of IoK but also lauded them for their resilience.
Taking it to Twitter, the actress shared a now-deleted video of a Kashmiri Shia who was hit by pellets during an Ashura procession. This prompted Mehwish to salute the Kashmiri people.
“I salute the resilience of Kashmir people against oppression. Their voice will always be louder than any war crimes inflicted upon them even if the international community has forsaken them!” tweeted the actress.
