Mehwish Hayat’s rendition of Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo is so meh!

Mehwish Hayat, an actress par excellence and a humanitarian with a heart of gold, winner of Tamgha E Imtiaz, is what the modern women of today aspires to be. However, if there is one thing, that we believe Mehwish Hayat isn’t really excellent like her usual self at, then it has to be singing.

The actress, although having pursued her passion for singing in the States and in Pakistan as well, usually doesn’t hit the right chords when it comes to taking the mic.

Mehwish Hayat recently posted a throwback video of herself crooning the Farida Khanum track Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo in front of a concert audience. She termed it as an exhilarating experience since it was a 10,000 plus crowd.

“In February this year was able to do this amazing live concert in Lahore to a crowd of over 10,000 strong. What an exhilarating experience,” wrote Mehwish on her Twitter.

And while she nailed her look, her posture and her confidence, we just want to state that Mehwish Hayat missed the chords here and went off tune.

Mehwish Hayat has previously entertained audiences with her singing talent in the US. She also sang for Coke Studio season 9 alongside Shiraz Uppal.
