Men are smarter than women! Does Hira Mani really think that?
Pakistan TV actress Hira Mani is a quite talented face in the showbiz industry. The actress has earned her name portraying her roles with conviction whether comedy or tradegy. Hira Mani delivers versatility in an outstanding manner.
The actress was recently seen at a game show as a celebrity guest contestant on a private TV channel on Sunday where unlike her usual strong woman persona, Hira faltered.
The Do Bol star’s hunches continuously misfired and without considering her poor performance in the game, she said something to everyone’s surprise while referring to her fellow contestant, “I think we should listen to the men. They are smarter than us. I think we should go with his decision.”
“A woman can sometimes make bad decisions,” she added.
The host of the show, Fahad Mustafa, immediately interrupted her by saying “That is not the case. My wife has always made the best decisions. Our country’s women are smarter than men,” he added, “My wife has always made the best decision.”
Another female contestant, quite a few moments in the show, made a good effort to achieve the said task exclaimed, “See! Women are smart.”
While Hira had carelessly made a statement (more like a lame excuse) that women are less intelligent, it’s certainly not the case as intelligence is not something based on gender but it’s the way (an acquired behaviour) one can achieve excellence in a particular task .
Public figures should think before speaking anything casually as some irresponsible statements can influence the audience in a broader way.
We hope that Hira would be more careful next time whenever she comes to speak and pass such judgments!
