Veteran comedian and actor Mirza Shahi is reportedly in critical condition after contracting coronavirus.
As being reported has been moved onto a ventilator on Wednesday after his condition worsened as he battles COVID-19. He is also diabetic.
According to the actor’s nephew Muhammad Hassan Shahi. Mirza Shahi has been hospitalized for the past two days. While the actor’s wife and daughter have also tested positive for the virus and they are currently in quarantine.
“He was shifted onto a ventilator early Wednesday after he developed complications related to the coronavirus,” said Hassan.

“His oxygen levels were dropping”, he further added.
According to Shahi’s nephew, the actor and his wife had been bedridden the past year.
Actor-director Yasir Nawaz had shared about Mira Shahi’s health via an Instagram post on Wednesday, requesting prayers for him.
