Singer and actor Mohsin Abbas Haider who has recently gotten out of wedlock with former television host Fatema Sohail, has denied paying child care for his son. Owing it on the back of joblessness, the actor has maintained in the court that he has no money.
“I was previously paying for the expenses of Fatema and my son. But I can’t pay for them anymore because I don’t have a job or money,” said Mohsin in response to a petition filed by his ex-wife to claim childcare for their almost year-old son.
Fatema had earlier filed a petition in the court which is being heard by judge Myra Hasan. The next hearing on the case has been adjourned till January 27.
Earlier last year, Fatema came out with allegations of physical abuse and cheating on Mohsin’s part. After a long public spat, the court granted Khula to Fatema in December.
