Stuck in LA during lockdown, Nargis Fakhri just can’t wait to fly to India

Like all of us, Bollywood star Nargis Fakhri has been missing her work during coronavirus lockdown.

The Rockstar actress opened up to Hindustan Times about her being in Los Angeles all alone in the midst of these catastrophic times and how she misses being in front of the camera for Bollywood films.

She revealed that she spends most of her time chanting, cooking, binge eating and reading books, among the other things.

The 40-year old actor, seemed to miss the hustle-bustle however she stated that the internet keeps her hooked to friends and fans.

“It wouldn’t matter where I am in this world. I’m alone here and would have been alone there (in India) as well. I’m grateful for the internet that enables me to connect with everyone,” she said.

Nargis just can’t wait to fly to India and as soon as the threat of coronavirus is over, she will return to work.

“A few events and shoots have got cancelled. But that’s okay. Health is more important than anything else. As soon as coronavirus threat is over, I’ll come to India,”

She revealed further that she has been using her time in quarantine to ponder upon “what is the next chapter of my life going to look like. I do miss working in Bollywood and would love to keep doing films, but work-life balance is very important for my mental and physical well being.”

On the work front, Nargis Fakhri will be next seen in Girish Malik’s Torbaaz that also stars Sanjay Dutt and Rahul Dev.
