Navjot Singh Sidhu sacked from The Kapil Sharma Show after comments on Pulwama attack
The Kapil Sharma Show has landed in another controversy. This time the reason is Navjot Singh Sidhu’s statements on the Pulwama attacks.
His statement left Twitterati outraged and according to media reports, the channel will now be replacing Navjot Singh Sidhu on The Kapil Sharma Show.
Reacting to the recent attacks on Pulwama, Sidhu had commented saying, “For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual? It (the attack) is a cowardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished.”
And obviously, his statement was not received well by the Indians and Indian media, as #BoycottSidhu has been trending.

The former cricketer’s comments were met with harsh criticism and since then social media has been flooded with posts demanding his exit from The Kapil Sharma Show.
According to the source the channel is in talks with the production house and wants Sidhu to be replaced with immediate effect. Archana Puran Singh is being reported to be replacing Sidhu.
