Nazish Jahangir Faces Arrest Warrants in Rs2.5 Million Fraud Case
The court has ordered Jahangir to be arrested and presented before it on March 22

A Lahore court has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for actress Nazish Jahangir in connection with a Rs2.5 million fraud case.
The warrants were issued by Judicial Magistrate Ghulam Shabbir Sial of the Cantt Kutchery Court following a complaint by fellow actor Aswad Haroon.
Haroon alleged that Jahangir borrowed Rs2.5 million and his car for two months but failed to return either, even after six months had passed.
Additionally, Haroon claimed that when he attempted to recover his property, Jahangir arranged a meeting at a farmhouse but did not appear; instead, a man named Sikandar Khan allegedly threatened him with weapons.
The case was originally registered under Section 420 of the Pakistan Penal Code for cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property.
Jahangir had previously sought pre-arrest bail, arguing that the FIR was filed with malicious intent to harass her, but her petition was dismissed.
The court has ordered Jahangir to be arrested and presented before it on March 22.
Jahangir has publicly denied the allegations, describing them as a premeditated attempt to blackmail her and damage her reputation.
The Lahore High Court had also directed the FIA to review her complaint about alleged social media propaganda against her in October 2024.
