Nida Yasir Caught Her Filipino Maid Red-Handed with Stolen Items Including Foreign Currency
Popular host Nida Yasir revealed a shocking incident involving theft by her foreign domestic worker at home on a recent episode of her morning show.
She shared on her show that after the birth of her son Balaj, she hired a Filipino maid to take care of him due to her busy schedule.
Trusting her implicitly because of her nationality and professional demeanour, Nida did not suspect any wrongdoing for two years, during which the maid was treated with kindness and respect.

However, over time, valuable items began disappearing from Nida’s house, including mobile phones and other belongings, but the maid was never checked due to the trust placed in her. The turning point came when €300 went missing from Nida’s purse during a shopping trip, after she had handed it to the maid.
Growing suspicious, Nida decided to follow the maid when she took leave and visited her home, where she found three bags filled with stolen items, including the missing money, mobile phones, and even a branded Polo shirt. The maid was preparing to take these items back to the Philippines.
Despite the betrayal, Nida chose not to take legal action since the maid had served for several years and all stolen goods were recovered. However, she informed the agency that had hired the maid about the theft in detail.
Nida also reflected on the common misconception that foreign domestic workers are inherently trustworthy, cautioning that theft can happen regardless of nationality.
