Oscars Pour in Condolences Over Irrfan Khan’s Untimely Death

After Bollywood’s one of the most sought after actor Irrfan Khan passed away on Wednesday, condolences poured in from all over the world to remember the legendary artist. The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences too took to Twitter to express grief over Khan’s untimely death.

“A mainstay of Bollywood cinema and incredible talent in films like ‘Slumdog Millionaire,’ ‘Life of Pi’ and ‘The Namesake,’ Irrfan Khan left his imprint on global cinema,” tweeted the Academy.

“An inspiration to millions, he will be greatly missed,” it added.

The Academy hailed the late actor as an ‘incredible talent’

Suffering from a rare kind of cancer since 2018, Irrfan passed away in Mumbai at 53 years of age. Fans globally mourned the death of the critically acclaimed actor.
