Osman Khalid Butt, Aamina Sheikh, Amna Ilyas, Sheheryar Munawar win big at Masala! Awards’18

Masala! Awards UAE are held every year in Dubai to celebrate the best from the Asian Community. Like last year, a number of Pakistani artists this year too attended the Masala! awards in Dubai and brought a lot of pride to the country.

Celebrities in attendance included Kareena Kapoor Khan and also Kartik Aryan from India while Osman Khalid Butt, Aamina Sheikh, Amna Ilyas, Ayesha Omar, Sheheryar Munawar, Ali Rehman Khan, Aijaz Aslam along with PR mogul Freiha Altaf and designer Faraz Mannan were in attendance from this side of the border.

Faraz Mannan showcased his latest collection for the coming year with his muse Kareena Kapoor Khan walking the ramp for his finale. Mannan, was also on the jury’s panel.

Actors Osman Khalid Butt (OKB) and Amna Ilyas were awarded the Agents of Social Change Award at the ceremony. Osman Khalid Butt thanked all women in the industry who had spoken up against harassment and males who had supported their cause. Amna Ilyas dedicated her awards to all females in Pakistan, encouraging them to follow their dreams.

Aamina Sheikh won Best Actress for Cake The Film, well deserved award we have to say.

Sheheryar Munawar was awarded the Most Versatile Actor award this year at Masala! Munawar talked about how he had learned a lot of things during his journey as an actor and a producer.
