The year is winding to a close and we’ve had some phenomenal projects. 2018, brought some amazing actresses to screens in Pakistan, new comers who left us absolutely stunned with their performances. Here’s a list of actresses, who we find to be promising enough to soar to newer heights in the coming year.
The gorgeous actress, who is only two dramas old, with the third one on air, impressed us with her talent. Kinza Hashmi is not only good looking but also brings across very promising acting skills. Her stint as Rushna in Ishq Tamasha was absolutely wonderful and something very different from the girl next door avatars, most female actresses play.
Ammara Butt is a firecraker for sure and she’s one versatile performer. Ammara delivered a sizzling performance in De Ijazat on Hum TV and then her character in Akhri Station was one to be admired as well. The girl really knows how to nail it with her expressions.
Now this actress should be defined best as beauty with brains. Her looks are to die for and her acting skills are no less either. Alizeh has done a few supporting roles as yet, but we’d love to see her in something major this year because we know she can do it!
This young girl got our attention in Bholi Bano and then held it there. We loved her in Silsilay where Hiba played a very different role and made her presence felt opposite actors like Muneeb Butt, Junaid Khan and also Moomal Sheikh. Hiba Bukhari is a natural actress and she’ll stun you with her performances.
Zara Noor Abbas
Zara Noor Abbas is the daughter of veteran actress Asma Abbas and niece of Bushra Ansari, so yes acting runs in her viens. Zara might have debuted in 2016 but it was this year that she earned quite some spotlight because of her role in Khamoshi. The actress with her pretty and innocent face, knows how to deliver some amazing expressions.
Call us partial, but we have to mention Amar because she’s only two dramas and a telefilm old and has given stupendous performances in Ghughi and Belapur Ki Dayan. Amar totally stunned us as the witch Neelofar, with her expressions spot on!
