Prayers requested for Umer Sharif’s health as the next 24 hours are declared critical for him.
Veteran comedian Umer Sharif’s wife Zareen Umer on Friday shared the health update and requested prayers.
It was a day ago when Pakistan’s iconic comedian-actor in a video message requested PM Imran Khan for assistance in his travel to the US for seeking medical treatment.

Zareen Umer has been sharing timely updates about Umer Sharif’s health on his official Facebook page.
She had also shared a clarification that Umer Sharif’s family did not seek any financial help from the government for his treatment.
“We just wanted to clarify that Umer Sharif and his family didn’t ask for any financial assistance from the government or any entity. We are just seeking help to get Umer’s visa ASAP,” she said.
Following the news of his ailing health, many took to social media to extend prayers for their beloved Pakistani artist.

After the comedian explained that he needs to travel for his treatment and hence, requested Imran Khan to facilitate his travel, many people came forward to support his request on social media.

Got the videos of Umer Sharif bhai in the hospital with Zareen bhabhi talking to him. He is our asset. Thankfully PM @ImranKhanPTI has announced that the Govt will take care of all his expenses. Right now main issue is his US visa which expired sometime back. @usembislamabad
