Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Neighbors Given Strangest Rules to Follow!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry who recently moved to their Frogmore Cottage in Windsor Castle have always been quite rigid about their privacy, and this time the whole thing has gotten one step further. In a latest meeting of the residents of Windsor Estate, the people have been issued a whole list of do’s and don’ts around the couple.

Some of the rules in the list are quite bizarre but the neighbors of Sussexes have no other option but to abide by them.

Here are the rules of communication with the Royals:

• Don’t approach or instigate conversation if you see the Royal couple
• Do say ‘Good Morning’ or some other pleasantry if they speak to you
• Don’t pet or stroke their dogs, even if they come over to you
• Don’t offer to walk their dogs
• Don’t ask to see baby Archie or offer to babysit
• Don’t post anything through the letterbox of Frogmore Cottage

“It would be funny if it wasn’t so over the top,” said a local after hearing the rules of engagement with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Some people also mentioned that most of the people living at the estate work for the royals, thus they know proper etiquette and protocol of being around Royal family.

“It’s extraordinary. We’ve never heard anything like it. Everyone who lives on the estate works for the royals and knows how to behave respectfully,” said another resident.

He further added, “We aren’t told how to behave around the Queen like this. She’s very happy for people to greet her.”

Some neighbors found the rule of not patting the dog contradictory to British culture. It’s odd because it’s a very normal British thing to say ‘Good Morning’ and pat a dog,” stated a neighbor.

Neighbors and Royal staff members at the Windsor Estate are assuming that Duke and Duchess of Sussex have taken their privacy a notch further, hence issued something as bizarre as this list of rules. The Buckingham Palace however denied the involvement of Harry or Meghan.

“The Duke and Duchess had no knowledge of this briefing and no involvement in the concept or the content,” said the spokesperson for the Palace. He added that the list has been issued on demand of a very ‘protective royal in the palace’.
