Ranveer Singh gets casual about his wedding to Deepika Padukone

There have been so many rumors and talks going about one of Bollywood’s favorite pair, Deepika Padukone & Ranveer Singh. While Ranveer is occupied with his up-and-coming projects Gully Boy, Takht, and Simmba,  what added more into the speculations was Deepika’s work schedule and engagements. Since she has not announced any projects after Padmaavat, people started talking how she must be busy in the preparations of her wedding which is to be held in November, 2018.

When the iconic duo attended the 16th Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, they came across many questions about their wedding. And of course, when a topic is one of the hottest B-town gossips where so many speculations are made yet there’s nothing much about it on the news; what’s better than asking the main guys about it straight away? Well, they actually looked STINKING CUTE together!

However it was no surprise that the couple beautifully dodged the question. They were asked a simple question: “When is the wedding?”

Upon which Ranveer was the first to answer. He, in a very casual way, as if it isn’t something big, said,

“When, where, you are reading that everyday in the news. My sherwani’s colour, the wedding itinerary, the gifts that guests are going to give… Everything is decided. So you know all about it. Our very enthusiastic friends in the media are not holding back and yeah, it’s all out there. But when there is something, you all will be the first to know.”

Just as he lunged the question, Deepika was asked, “Was there a November wedding which has now been pushed to early next year?” Upon which she said,

“There were many November weddings… By the way, we have as per the media, been married several times.”

To which Ranveer right away added,

“What all has not happened in our lives. We have been engaged multiple times, and this has been written about with such details that I find it very fascinating… Such creative writing that someone can write a script.”

Maintaining such a dignified silence about something big is definitely not easy. But we’re still happy to know that even if they dodged the topics off, it is pretty clear that wedding is going to happen – sooner or later.
