Rihanna to focus on fashion & cosmetic business

Celebrity singer turned entrepreneur, in a couple of interviews has hinted that she will be focusing on her fashion and cosmetic business. Asks fans to wait for the launch of next album.

Rihanna has stayed relatively quiet about her upcoming collection, but it’s been rumored that it’s a reggae album.

To be noted, Rihanna’s fashion, lingerie, and cosmetics empire is estimated at around 486 million pounds.

However, the star has made it clear that music is in the pipeline and has apologized to her fans, saying she won’t be able to release a new album any time soon.

In an interview to “The List”, Rihanna, who has not released an album since 2016, said that her fans, nicknamed the Navy, will have to wait for a bit, reports ‘dailymail.co.uk’.

“Whatever I do is gonna be confident whether it’s the album, perfume, lingerie, make-up, or fashion. Y’all gonna have to wait. Navy, I’m so sorry,” she said.

“I still got an album to finish. You gonna ask me about Super Bowl? My fans about to have my neck,” she told Entertainment Weekly.

Earlier in June, the Forbes magazine named singer Rihanna as the “World’s Richest Female Musician”, with an estimated fortune of $600 million with the bulk of that coming from her Fenty beauty range.

Rihanna, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, her company launched Fenty Beauty in September 2017 and it has been estimated racked up sales of $100 million in its first few weeks. The Forbes estimates that the company generated $570 million last year.
