Saif Ali Khan ‘Out of Danger’ After Being Stabbed Six Times in Attempted Robbery at Home

Saif Ali Khan, the renowned Bollywood actor, was hospitalized following a violent knife attack at his Mumbai home during an attempted burglary.

As reported, the incident occurred around 2:30 AM on January 16, 2025, when an intruder broke into his residence in Bandra.

Khan sustained multiple injuries, with two stab wounds being particularly severe, one located dangerously close to his spine.

Upon discovering the intruder, a nanny alerted Khan, who intervened to protect his family, including his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and their children. During the confrontation, he was attacked by the intruder, who fled the scene before police arrived.

Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital by his son Ibrahim and a caretaker, where he underwent surgery to address his injuries.

Currently, hospital officials have stated that Khan is out of danger and recovering well. The surgery involved removing a knife lodged near his spine and repairing spinal fluid leakage.

The police are actively investigating the incident and have detained several suspects for questioning.

Khan’s team has requested privacy during this time as they await further updates on his recovery.

The team’s official statement said, “Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery, and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe, and the police are investigating the incident.”
