Sana Javed’s next drama is a Big Bang Entertainment Project

Seems like Sana Javed has been riding on the wings of success ever since her drama Khaani. The actress has been doing dramas on one sensitive issue after another and nailing each of her performances. And now, apparently, Sana has found her next project, as her last drama, Ruswai ended this week.

According to news, Sana’s next is a Big Bang Entertainment project alongside Bilal Abbas. The drama is a modern mystery thriller but according to Bilal  “the script is very different from Cheekh and very good.”

Talking about her next project to Images, Sana recently shared, “We’re all super excited, and writer Mohsin Ali has done an amazing, amazing job.”

“It might sound cliche but I’ve never done a character like this before. The good news for the audience is that this character is not an emotional wreck at all. Not that I do sob characters, I always go for strong women characters,” added Sana stating that what made the project special was the producer, Fahad Mustafa’s own involvement. “Not only has he read the script but in each and everything – from the wardrobe to character development and the feel of the show, he’s involved in every intricacy,” said Sana.

The yet to be named serial will be directed by Badar Mehmood of Cheekh fame and speculations are high about Noman Aijaz and Aaminah Sheikh being cast along as well

“The team is outstanding. All of their dramas are always huge. Badar Mehmood directs, Mohsin Ali writes and the team effort makes it big. We’ve been wanting to work together for so long, I was also offered two, three other projects by Badar but it would never work out because of dates and availability. But finally, we’re working together thank God, and we’re all very excited,” added Sana.

The shooting for the project will begin as soon as the pandemic is over.
