Shaan Shahid Throws Shade at Dirilis Ertugrul Actor
For some reason on earth, Shaan Shahid has a personal vendetta against Turkish drama Dirilis Ertugrul and it shows from his constant banter on social media about the show. This time however the Waar actor’s tweet seemed a tad bit out of line as he mocked Engin Altan Duzyatan over his religious knowledge – or so it seemed.
Taking it to Twitter, Shaan wrote, “I don’t learn my religion from dramas and films. Alhamdulillah my mother has taught me.”
What came next seemed quite distasteful as he wrote, “And this is Turkish brother… he’s doing wuzoo (abulation) after taking money for it.”

Shaan’s tweet garnered criticism from netizens who called out the actor for mocking someone’s religious knowledge and also boosting of his own. The actor however once again left the fire to escalate on the Turkish dramas debate.
