Shaan Shahid suggests PCB to announce a new tournament for women

Veteran actor and director Shaan Shahid appreciated Pakistan’s women cricket team over their stunning win against West Indies in the thriller of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

The actor took to Twitter and said that he is proud of the women in green. He also urged Pakistan Cricket Board to support the women’s cricket team by organising more domestic matches.

”#womeningreen so proud of you for bringing us pride honour and joy. Keep shining. #pcb must support the #women’s cricket in Pakistan more women’s domestic cricket, ” Shaan tweeted.

In fact, he suggested, PCB to initiate a new tournament Fatima Jinnah Cup, equivalent to Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

Pakistan has defeated one-time champion West Indies to register their first win in the ongoing ICC Women’s T20 World Cup at Canberra on Wednesday. From Diana Baig to Javeria Khan, it was a team effort that took Pakistan over the line in Canberra.
