Shocking! Shah Rukh Khan married Gauri Khan thrice!

One of the most loved couples of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan have been together for 27 years, we all know this but what comes as a surprise to us is that the couple got married not just once or twice but thrice.

Shah Rukh was a Muslim and Gauri was from a Hindu Brahmin Family. According to information sourced from a news portal, the difference of religion was mainly the reason, the couple had to say ‘I do’ at three different ceremonies.

First, they registered their marriage in court. Then on August 26, 1991, they tied the knot in a traditional nikkah ceremony, owing to SRK’s Muslim roots.

Then the couple had a third Hindu wedding as per Gauri’s family traditions which bound them together as husband and wife forever.

The last ceremony took place on October 25, 1991.

Shah Rukh and Gauri welcomed their first child, Aryan, in 1997. Their daughter, Suhana, was born in 2000. The youngest Khan, AbRam, was born in 2013, via surrogacy.
