Shane Watson’s Instagram account hacked, apologizes for illicit photos posts

Former Australia all-rounder Shane Watson has apologized to his fans followers after his account on popular social media photo sharing application Instagram got hacked on Tuesday.

Illicit photos were shared on Watson’s verified handle and for which the Aussie cricketer has now issued a statement.

Earlier on Friday, Watson’s Twitter account was also targeted and his name including the profile image was changed and objectionable posts were uploaded.

Taking it to social media, Watson has shared an apology, in a tweet he wrote, “My apologies to everyone for the illicit photos that have been posted on my Instagram account. First my Twitter account on Friday got hacked and now Instagram today. Instagram needs to help out a lot quicker when things like this happens. This is taking way too long!!!”

Later, Watson shared another Tweet calling out at Twitter, as according to him, the process of getting things rectified took longer time than that his Twitter account was hacked. His post read: “Twitter last Friday were amazing at getting onto it so quickly but Instagram…….. where are you?????”

After a while, the problem with his official twitter handle was sorted out and yet again Watson took to social media thanking as the problem was resolved.
“Another day….. Another social media account hacked!!!! Thanks to Twitter for getting onto this so quickly for me. Fingers crossed I have sorted this all out and it won’t happen again”.
