Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy hails Deepika Padukone as a hero

Filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy has met the Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone at the World Economic Forum 2020 in Davos.

Deepika has been in headlines after showing up at the JNU protests, unlike other Bollywood actresses.

Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy took to social media, sharing the meeting account, has hailed Deepika a hero.

Earlier, Sharmeen also shared the conclusion of her week at the Davos World Economic Forum, “My week in #Davos concluded with an immersive workshop on resilience @mikehornexplorer and I shared stories from our lives engaging the audience to think about their own challenges and how to overcome them! My own motto in life: If a door hasn’t opened for you its because you haven’t kicked it hard enough”.
