SHC approves Dania Shah’s bail against surety bond of Rs 2 lakh
Dania was arrested by FIA's Cyber Crime Wing from Lodhran during a raid in December 2022
The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday approved the bail of Dania Shah, the third wife of late Aamir Liaquat, a former member of the National Assembly, in the obscene leaked video case.
Dania Shah’s bail application was heard in the Sindh High Court, in which lawyer Liaqat Gabol advocated that there is no evidence against Dania, the FIA has conducted a poor investigation.
The court, passing judgment on the arguments of Dania’s counsel, accepted the bail application of the accused and ordered Dania to submit a surety bond of Rs 2 lakh.
Dania was sent to jail on judicial remand.
She was arrested from Lodhran by FIA’s Cyber Crime Wing during a raid in December 2022.
It should be noted that Dania Shah is accused of making Aamir Liaquat’s private videos viral, on which the deceased’s daughter Dua Aamir has filed a case.
