Sonakshi Sinha prioritizes anti-CAA protests over Dabanggg 3’s box office business

India is burning down. Perhaps its karma. Whatever the nation is doing with Kashmir is boiling down on them but innocent lives are being lost and nobody has been at fault except the atrocious government of the country. There are protests all over India and people are being locked up without a genuine reason.

Amongst all this chaos, everything is suffering, including India’s most profitable industry, the film industry i.e. Bollywood. Although films have been releasing as per their regular schedules, the unrest in the country has caused damages to the regular earnings of the film.

Fallen prey to the situation in the country, is the Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha starrer Dabanggg 3. The film generated a lot of hype before its release but as it seems, the unrest in the country has definitely affected its business.

And although it might be a cause of concern for the producers, actress Sonakshi Sinha believes the anti-CAA protests across India are more important than the business of Dabanggg 3.

“We all know what is going on in the entire country. I think people know that what is more important, but I am honestly happy with audience response to our film,” said Sonakshi Sinha while talking to the media.

“At this moment, entire country has come together on this matter (CAA protests) and it is more important than a film,” added the Dabanggg starlet.

As per reports Dabanggg 3 has had a dismal opening on the box office as compared to the previous two films of the series but according to Sonakshi Sinha, the current situation of the country isn’t only accountable.

“I don’t know since how long we are urging the audience not to watch pirated films because it affects our industry in a negative way,” said Sonakshi as there have been reports about the film getting leaked on the internet.

However, unlike  a lot of Bollywood stars, Sonakshi Sinha isn’t fazed by anything and keeps voicing her thoughts out aloud supporting the protestors across India. “I am very proud of the people who have come out and voiced their opinion. I am with them,” said the Dabanggg girl.
