Sonam Kapoor has a condition before she does Munna Bhai 3
Sonam Kapoor is a diva, a trendsetter and a stereotype breaker as an actress. Sonam has made a mark in the Bollywood film industry on her own terms and she continues to set one trend after another.
Now, ever since the third installment of the hit franchise, Munna Bhai, had been announced and Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Dutt confirmed as leads, rumors were ripe that Sonam Kapoor was being approached to play the female lead in the film.
However, Sonam Kapoor, is a busy person. When questioned about the same, she rubbished the rumors stating that there wasn’t any such thing in the work and if and ever she worked in the film, it would be on one condition. Sonam Kapoor wants Munna Bhai’s named changed to Munni Behen, if she is to star in the film.
Munna Bhai franchise has been directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The film with Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Dutt would have gone on the floors this year. However after sexual harassment allegations against Hirani sprang up, the shooting for the film has been put on a hold.
On the other hand, Sonam Kapoor’s lesbian romance, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha releases worldwide today. The film is said to be breaking stereotypes all over and winning praises for its different genre.
