British actress Sophie Turner, 24, who played Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones, and Joe Jonas, 30, a member of the pop band the Jonas Brothers have welcomed their first child.

“Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their baby,” a representative for the couple said in a statement on Monday.

According to celebrity website TMZ.com, the baby was a girl, who has been named Willa and was born in a Los Angeles hospital on July 22.

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas got married last year and reports of Sophie’s pregnancy were revealed in February.

The celebrity couple had adopted a low-key public profile after getting married.
