American singer Taylor Swift is among the latest celebrities to speak on Coronavirus and raise awareness on the do’s and don’ts for the disease that has taken over 6,000 lives worldwide. In her latest Instagram story, the singer urged her fans to take the situation seriously and abandon partying for the time being.
“Guys, I follow you online and I love you guys so much and need to express my concern that things aren’t being taken seriously enough right now,” wrote the 30-year old singer.
She continued that she’s seeing a lot of posts from people who are still hanging out, hosting parties and get-togethers and this isn’t how it should be.
“This is the time to cancel plans, actually truly isolate as much as you can, and don’t assume that because you don’t feel sick that you aren’t possibly passing something on to someone elderly or vulnerable to this,” wrote the singer of the decade titleholder.
In the end, Taylor asked everyone to make the social sacrifice and take precautions in these ‘scary times’.
“It’s a really scary time but we need to make social sacrifices right now,” concluded the starlet.
