Activist and Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai is receiving congratulatory messages from celebs and world leaders after she revealed her newly married status in a social media post on Tuesday.
Malala tied the knot with Asser Malik, the general manager of the PCB’s High-Performance Centre, in a small intimate nikkah ceremony at the Yousafzai residence in Birmingham.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau replied to Malala’s wedding tweet, said, “Congratulations, Malala and Asser! Sophie and I hope you enjoyed your special day – we’re wishing you a lifetime of happiness together.”
