The world sends love to Malala on her marriage.

Activist and Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai is receiving congratulatory messages from celebs and world leaders after she revealed her newly married status in a social media post on Tuesday.

Malala tied the knot with Asser Malik, the general manager of the PCB’s High-Performance Centre, in a small intimate nikkah ceremony at the Yousafzai residence in Birmingham.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau replied to Malala’s wedding tweet, said, “Congratulations, Malala and Asser! Sophie and I hope you enjoyed your special day – we’re wishing you a lifetime of happiness together.

Deputy Secretary-General of the UN Amina J Mohammed also congratulated Malala on her wedding.

UK politician Nick Gibb, UK MP Sajid Javid, UK MP Penny Mordaunt, Baronness Sayeeda Warsi, and UK Minister Tariq Ahmed Butt also congratulated Malala.

 

 

Many international celebrities including filmmaker Jemima Goldsmith, actor Rachel Zegler, Reese Witherspoon, activist, and philanthropist Melinda French Gates, Climate activist Greta Thunberg, actor and activist Mia Farrow, and tennis star  Billie Jean King also wished Malala.

 

Actor Priyanka Chopra sent her warmest wishes to Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai.

Congratulations and best wishes are still pouring in for the young activist as she starts a new journey in her life.
