Imsha Rehman, a prominent TikTok influencer from Pakistan, has recently spoken out about the severe impact of a fake video scandal that has deeply affected her life and online presence.

Following the leak of a private video in November 2024, which circulated widely on social media, Rehman faced intense backlash, including online abuse and death threats, prompting her to deactivate her social media accounts.

The TikTok sensation boasts over 200,000 followers. 

In a recent interview with a Dubai-based media outlet, Rehman described the emotional toll of the incident, stating, “I saw the video on the internet, and after that, it destroyed my whole life. I can’t go to university. I can’t face people”.

She highlighted the often-overlooked consequences of sharing harmful content online, emphasizing the need for accountability among those who disseminate such material.

Despite the overwhelming pressure to respond publicly, she has opted to pursue legal action against those responsible for the leak, noting that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has already arrested an individual linked to the incident.

Rehman’s situation underscores critical issues surrounding digital privacy and safety for women on social media platforms. She urged others to take legal action against similar offences to ensure perpetrators are held accountable.
