Tom Hanks posts update of his wellness on Instagram - OyeYeah News
Famed American actor and filmmaker Tom Hanks has posted a short update to his Instagram account early Sunday morning days after he and wife Rita Wilson tested positive for COVID-19 in Australia.
“Thanks to the Helpers. Let’s take care of ourselves and each other. Hanx,” the actor wrote in the post.
The actor’s post showed a plush kangaroo toy holding the Australian flag next to Hanks’ breakfast of Vegemite on toast.
The couple has been in quarantine in Australia since testing positive for coronavirus, according to the two-time Oscar winner’s Instagram account.
Hanks’, 63, post on Sunday was the second update from him since his initial post about testing positive.
He first announced his disease on Wednesday, saying that while in Australia, he and wife Rita came down with symptoms with a cold, as well as body aches and slight fevers.
