Travel Diaries: Nobel Prize winning activist Malala Yousafzai celebrated her 21st birthday in Brazil in style.

It was yesterday when Gul Makaai turned 21, and being on her trip to Brazil she celebrated her b-day there. She is not a little girl any more, has grown up into powerful young lady who has influenced the whole world with power of her education, world’s youngest Nobel Laureate and activist.

According to the press release the Malala is in Brazil meeting with local girls and hearing their personal stories along with many Brazilian influencers, that include vlogger Juanpa Zurita, humanitarian and social media celeb Jerome Jarre, and journalist Elaine Welteroth.

Malala took to social media talking about her 21st birthday, “I turned 21 today in #Brazil. So happy to spend my birthday in this beautiful country with amazing girls. Want to meet some of my new friends?”

Malala kept sharing key notes from her trip, while meeting several people in Brazil.

It was earlier when she was welcomed over twitter by world famous Brazilian writer Paulo Coelho, and later he also thanked her for being in his country and setting an example for everyone.
