UN Secretary General Meets Mahira Khan on Pakistan Visit
UN Secretary General António Guterres who is in Pakistan to mark the 40-year relationship of Pakistan with the UN and its refugee program, met Mahira Khan today as his three-day visit nears the end.
“As we mark 40 years of Pakistan’s solidarity with Afghan refugees, it was a pleasure to meet Refugees Goodwill Ambassador Mahira Khan,” tweeted Guterres as he shared a picture of himself with the starlet.
“I thank her and all Pakistanis for their extraordinary support,” he added.

Mahira was appointed as UN Refugee Agency Good Ambassador in November and since then participated in many initiatives of the organization. She also went to Peshawar last year as a part of a delegation to meet Afghan refugees.
