Veena Malik opens up about her breast cancer surgery and awareness for females
It was recently rumored that actress and host Veena Malik was undergoing breast surgery at a hospital in Karachi. However, the reason for the surgery was never disclosed. Now, after successful surgery, Veena Malik herself opened up about her battle with breast cancer and urged women to be aware of the disease.
Taking to Twitter Veena shared how she had undergone a successful fibroadenoma removal surgery at a hospital in Karachi and thanked her friends, family, and fans for their prayers.

Veena also thanked her doctor for her commitment and kindness throughout the operation.

Finally, the actress did not forget to raise awareness about breast cancer, stressing on the fact that it was real and could strike. ‘Women must take care of themselves and it shouldn’t be considered a taboo,’ wrote Veena.
