Veteran Pakistani drama actress Zaheen Tahira passed away today after staying in CCU following another heart stroke.
Zaheen Tahira was 70 years old and had been on the ventilator following a massive heart attack last month. She had been taken into surgery three days ago but couldn’t make it, family sources confirmed.
The 70-year-old Khuda Ki Basti actor was put on the ventilator after suffering a attack last month.
Zaheen Tahira has more than 700 dramas to her credit throughout her career spanning 6 decades. Khuda Ki Basti marking her most memorable performances. Her last television appearance had been in ARY Digital’s Babban Khala Ki Betiyan.
The veteran actress was also honoured with the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2013 by former president Asif Ali Zardari for her services in the Pakistani TV industry.
