Veteran writer Anwar Maqsood tests positive for COVID-19

Celebrated veteran writer, poet, television host, satirist, and humorist, Anwar Maqsood has tested positive for COVID-19, it emerges on Wednesday.

As being reported Anwar Maqsood is currently receiving medical treatments at home due to his deteriorating health.

A day earlier, President of Arts Council Mohammad Ahmed Shah informed that Pakistan’s legendary comedian and intellectual Anwar Maqsood is seriously ill, and requested to pray for his health.

He shared that Loose Talk is going through a hard time. Maqsood is at bed rest after he underwent multiple tests.

Mr. Shah conveyed the message that Anwat Maqsood had requested his devotees to pray for his swift recovery as he is currently undergoing treatment at home.
